Unsere gemeinamen Projekte in 2011 und 2012 sind:
1st European Headquarters Congress 4-5th of October 2012 in Vienna
Current corporate structures need to be adapted to the changing developments. This is however a joint decision. Not only the practitioners but many other stakeholders play an essential role in this process. Therefore representatives of all fields such as science, politics, and civil society should optimize current structures and work together.
The First European Headquarters Congress offers a common platform. Initiated by the Austrian based non-governmental platform Headquarters Austria it is a two-day cycle of debates, meetings and accompanying events with participation of approx. 600 international guests.
It will take place on 4-5th of October 2012 in Vienna. The Austrian capital is one of the most established Headquarters Location in Europe and has a special know-how in the CEE-region. This existing expertise leads to raising more and more questions about the future structures and functioning of headquarters. Therefore the dialogue platform initiates a broader dialogue on international level and starts a long-term discussion on the future development of headquarters location (in) Europe.
The scope of topics concerns current economic, political, scientific and societal issues related to the development of headquarters. The Congress will be covered by different international media.
The First Headquarters Congress is a solution-oriented dialogue about the future structures of companies in Europe.

EVENT:
1st Canadian-European Green Building Technology Day in Vienna with a Canadian key note speaker from the Green Building Council (Thomas Mueller confirmed) in Canada and a delegation from Canada followed by a day with site visits and the trade show “Bauen und Energie"
DESCRIPTION:
This is a multi-country initiative led by Vienna. Posts in Paris, Berlin, Bern, Warsaw and Rome have confirmed their participation. For further details, please contact Nicole Mothes.
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this activity is the establishment of high-level business contacts between Canadian and European companies covering a wide range of opportunities: bilateral technology transfer, innovation and joint research projects and cross-investment. It is anticipated that each Post will identify and advance a minimum of 2-3 business development leads for the Canadian companies met under this initiative. Within 3 to 6 months after the conclusion of this initiative, each Post will be responsible to individually follow-up with the participating companies from its territory.
This initiative will be a full day event on February 16, 2011 starting with presentations (welcome remarks by the Canadian Ambassador in Austria and STC, followed by the key note speaker's presentation (Green Building Council), TCS presentation done by Nicole Mothes, company presentations (APG, Danube University in Krems together with OEAD and other companies) and testimonials, presentations of provincial representatives from BC, ON, QC and Alberta. We will also organize a real time webinar with a Canadian law firm (Gowlings) on how to do business in Canada. In the evening we will have a networking reception at the Official Residence in Vienna.
